Folk På Samsø began with the notion "If you don't know what to play, play as softly as you can and listen." Over the course of 1 year our evolving cast of musicians and artists has recorded 16 albums of improvised beauty. I can't express how much this music means to me. I listen to it all the time while I work or meditate or wash dishes or as background music for guests. Sonically, it has a wide range - from cinematic soundscape to 80's futuristic rock pop ala B52s... it's accessible experimental music. Or at least I think so!
