While I often build instruments that resemble ACTUAL instruments, they rarely (if ever) operate as such. However! With the help of piezo buzzer pickups their percussive depth is actually quite astounding. I have found the more soft I play, the more variety of sounds I have access to. You can hear some of my instruments on the For To Feel Rust album, as well as in many of the Folk På Samsø recordings.
